RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SOCIAL IN- TERACTION WITH ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION STAY ON THE YOUTH IN THE ORPHANAGE

Abstract


This study
aims to examine the relationship between social interac-
tion with achievement motivation in adolescents living in
orphanages. Social interaction is a relationship between in-
dividuals or groups of people who greet each other, in
u-
ence, change the behavior of other individuals and produce
an eect of in
uencing the process that produces a perma-
nent relationship. Achievement motivation is an incentive
associated with some skill standard achievement, encour-
agement contained in the student seeking to improve their
ability as high as possible, control or regulate the social
and physical environment more good for over others. The
study involved 40 adolescents who lived in an orphanage
in East Jakarta. The analysis used to test the hypothesis
is the Pearson Correlation analysis of data and results ob-
tained correlation coecient value of 0.582 signicance level
of 0.000 with p = 0.01. This means there is a very signif-
icant positive relationship between social interaction with
achievement motivation in adolescents who lived in the or-
phanage was accepted.
