COST ANALYSIS, VOLUME OF SALES, PROFIT AND EARNINGS AS A PLANNING TOOL IN THE SHORT TERM HOME INDUSTRY JAYA AGUNG

Abstract


A company is said to be successful when obtain-
ing the optimal prot so as to maintain and continue its
eorts. In the calculations, the prots greatly in
uenced
by three factors: the volume of products sold, selling price
and cost. Cost in
uential in determining the selling price
of a product and aect the level of prot expected by the
company, while selling prices aect sales volume, while sales
volume directly aects the production volume and produc-
tion volume aect costs. These three factors are interre-
lated to one another. Scientic writing is aimed to nd
out how to use the cost, selling price and sales volume in
determining net income on a company. The research was
carried out in the Home Industry Jaya Agung which is en-
gaged in processing know by taking a sample piece of data
in January of 2011. From these results, the authors can
conclude that the Cost Analysis, Sales Volume and Prot-
party companies can nd out on the sales volume of 74,476
Rp 14,895,102 and sales of fruit, a home industry is at break
even (Break Even Point). Large decrease in sales volume
that may occur (Margin of Safety) is Rp 5 8,969,898 or 79.8
